The written reasons are produced by the Discipline Commission or Appeal Board so they will vary in style and in the level of detail provided.
Discipline Commissions and Appeal Boards are independent from Basketball England.
They are appointed to consider cases in accordance with Basketball England’s rules and regulations but have autonomy in making any such decision.
They will decide on the level of any sanction in accordance with the sanction guidelines and any minimum sanctions referenced in the Disciplinary Code. If applicable, they may take into account any sanction was has already been applied by a league, club or institution.
