The Jr. NBA League was created for 11-13 year olds (Year 7 and Year 8) boys and girls in secondary schools to participate in basketball.
The League is organised and operated by the local basketball federations in partnership with the NBA.
The league features 30 Jr. NBA Basketball League school teams that will represent one of the 30 NBA teams throughout the season.
The Jr. NBA Basketball England League comprises of 13 leagues across the country, that feature 30 schools are drafted as an NBA team. Schools compete in 4 regular season games as part of 7 rounds of fixtures, followed by an elimination Playoff. Schools who top their groups then progress to the Semi Finals with the final 4 schools in each league playing in the Jr. NBA Finals to be crowned the league Champions.
