These Terms and Conditions refer to a randomly drawn competition entered by completing our 'Sure Shot Competition' sign-up form online after the link is shared through Basketball England's social channels, or in the Basketball England newsletters beginning on Friday 4 October 2024.
By entering, the participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. You are automatically entered into the competition when you complete our 'Sure Shot Competition' sign-up form online, select that you wish to enter, provide a valid name and email address and complete the full form as required.
Only one entry will be accepted per valid email address. Multiple entries with the same email address will be disqualified.
A valid and current Basketball England membership number must be provided with each valid entry.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The competition will close at 11:59pm on Thursday 31 October 2024. After this time no further entries to the competition are permitted.
Employees of Basketball England, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion, are not eligible to win.
There are four prizes in this competition, with four separate winners receiving one prize each. The prizes are one "Sure Shot Easishot Portable Basketball Unit" and one "Sure Shot In The Street Backboard and Ring Set" for the two primary school competition winners, and one "Sure Shot Telescopic Basketball Unit with Acrylic Backboard" and one "Sure Shot Backboard and Ring Set" for the two secondary school competition winners.
All winners will be notified by email within 72 hours of the draw closing.
Each prize must be claimed by the winner within 7 days of notification. Claims after this time will be accepted at the discretion of Basketball England as the competition organiser.
If we are unable to contact you by email, or receive no response to notification that you have won a prize within 7 days, we will draw another winner.
We will accept entries made by under 18s, however, faculty/supervisory consent must be given before prizes are distributed.
The prize is not transferable and no cash alternative is available.
Basketball England will not take responsibility for any lost prizes – replacements cannot be issued.
If you are a winner, Basketball England may request you to participate in any publicity or promotion organised by Basketball England including promotional photographs.
Any winner(s) that are under 18, consent will be sought from the school before you are included in any promotion.
You are providing information to Basketball England and no other party, unless you specify that you are happy to be contacted by Ransome Sporting Goods.
Basketball England reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms and Conditions, the conduct, results and any other matters relating to this prize draw, the decision of Basketball England shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
