Event Spectator FAQs

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the Basketball England NBL National Cup Finals 2022 at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester.

Where is the event being held? +

The NBL National Cup finals will be held at the National Basketball Performance Centre, Kirkmanshulme Lane, Manchester M12 4TF.

What is the running order for the event? +

The tip times for the weekend are as follows:

Saturday 22 January 2022

11am - Sure Shot U16 Girls National Cup Final - Manchester Mystics v GCA Haringey Angels

1:15pm - Sure Shot U16 Boys National Cup Final - Richmond Knights v Islington Panthers

3:30pm - Sure Shot U18 Women's National Cup Final - CoLA Southwark Pride v Ipswich

5:45pm - Sure Shot U18 Men's National Cup Final - Manchester Magic v Sussex Storm

Sunday 23 January 2022

1pm - WNBL National Cup Final - Stockport Lapwings v Team Solent Kestrels

3:30pm - NBL National Cup Final - Team Newcastle University v Team Solent Kestrels

What time do the doors open? +

Spectator access to the venue is available one hour before the first game each day.

That is 10am on Saturday, and 12pm on Sunday.

How does ticketing work? +

You will have purchased the tickets online and received a digital ticket. This ticket will be scanned upon entry.

Tickets can be purchased online but only up 11am on Friday 21st January 2022.

Saturday 22nd January

  • Adult - £2.50
  • Concession/Student/Child Under 18 - Free (proof of age/student card will be required)

Sunday 23rd January

  • Adult - £5.00
  • Concession/Student/Child Under 18 - £2.50

Tickets can be purchased by CLICKING HERE.

All tickets must be purchased before the cut off on Friday 21st January, and a ticket must be used even for the free categories due to COVID-19/capacity reasons.

There is option to purchase tickets on the door, and no entry will be permitted without a ticket.

What parking is available at the venue? +

Onsite parking is available within walking distance of the Arena. 

There will be parking attendants on the main cark park and there will be overspill parking at St Peters School, across the road from the venue.

What COVID-19 information do I need to be aware of? +
  • You will need to complete a Lateral Flow Test on the morning of the event.
  • Evidence of a negative result will need to be provided upon entry to the building.
  • This should be done via registering with the Government website, so proof of date can be seen.
  • You are required to wear masks within the facility and whilst spectating unless you are exempt. Proof of exemption required.
Is catering available? +

No food or drink is available for purchase inside the venue (except for vending machines), but there will be catering available just outside the sport centre from a food vendor.

I want to take photos at the event, is that ok? +

Anybody who wishes to take photos at the event need to complete a Camera Registration Form: https://basketballengland.wufoo.com/forms/camera-registration-formbasketball-england-events/

Upon entry and production of a completed form, you will be given a sticker to show that you have permission to take photos/videos of the event.

This can be done from the spectator seating area, please do not access the court at any stage.
