Basketball podcasts to check out during the coronavirus shutdown

There is always plenty to talk about in the world of English basketball.

Rising stars, veteran trophy hunters, NBL, BBL, national teams - hopes and dreams, pride and passion, frustration and sacrifice.

Basketball England is joining the conversation via a new platform after launching the podcast 'Timeout'.

We have already chatted with Myercough College's young coach Neal Hopkins, experienced beyond his years; former Leicester Riders media maestro Joe Pinchin on his journey to the Chicago Bulls; and Ipswich youngster Harriet Welham, already thinking about how she can help the next generation.

You can listen to them here and via iTunes and Spotify - tell us who you would like to hear in future episodes on our social media channels.

There are plenty of passionate UK podcasters spreading the word about our game.

Here are a handful for your listening - tell us if we've missed any gems!
