BE 3x3 Development Manager Meehra Gorasia said:

"We were delighted to add a 3x3 All-Star element to our Aspire programme this year and the first event was a big success.

"The friendly rivalry between the four super regions has grown since they were created a few seasons ago in the 5v5 game. Now there's an opportunity for talented players to showcase their skills in the short format too, with the players doing just that over two great days of competition.

"Creating more opportunities for young people on our talent programme to experience and play basketball in different settings can enhance their skills and personal development. Their enjoyment of events like these can shape them into well-rounded players and hopefully spur them onto national representation. We would certainly like to see more gold medals for England in 3x3 on the international stage in the future."
