Junior Final Fours 2025: Finals winners, recaps & gallery

Finals day at the National Basketball Performance Centre once again brought down the curtain on the season.

Twelve teams booked their places in the showpiece games on day one of the NBL Junior Final Fours, setting up Sunday's blockbuster action to end 2024/25.

And six champions were crowned across the U18, U16 and U14 categories, with third and fourth place games also taking place.

U14 Finals

U14 Boys' Playoff Final: Milton Keynes Breakers 70-61 London Stars - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

A huge double-double of 19 points and 21 rebounds from MVP Jermain Tuffour helped Milton Keynes to the U14 Boys title.

If he was the standout Nathan Muleba (17pts/19rbs) wasn't far behind as the Breakers as they got the job done.

Dylan Ameen was the standout for the Stars with 27 points.

Trey Marshall was the standout with a monster 35-point, 10 rebound double-double as the Legends claimed third place.

4:45pm - U14 Girls' Playoff Final: Richmond Knights 48-64 Milton Keynes Breakers - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

Milton Keynes' U14 girls followed in the winning footsteps of their boys to land another title.

They took the first half 33-28 and kept the foot on the gas to the finish with MVP Chantelle Okoli's double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds the key factor.

Rosie O'Connell hit 10 for the Knights.

Ella-Rae Russell to a third-place finished with a big double-double of 17 points and 18 rebounds.

Milton Keynes Breakers are U14 Boys champions.
Milton Keynes landed a second title at U14 level.

U16 Finals

U16 Boys' Playoff Final: London Stars 82-65 London Elite - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

National Cup winners London Stars added the Playoff title to their 2024/25 haul with a commanding performance against capital city rivals Elite.

MVP Oskaras Visockas led the winners with a classy 24-point, 15-rebound, seven assist showing as Stars took a one-point advantage into the second half but stretched significantly it as the game progressed. Visockas was backed by Domas Martinkus (13ps) while Leo Bowman had a 13-point, 13-rebound double double for Elite and Kaya Birsen grabbed 14.

U16 Boys' 3rd/4th place game: London Thunder 68-62 Sussex Storm - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

Thunder grabbed the bronze medal position with Myles Barry leading their effort with a 23-point, 10-steal double-double.

U16 Girls' Playoff Final: Manchester Mystics 77-48 Richmond Knights - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

Manchester Mystics claimed the first silverware of the day with their run-away win over Richmond.

The Knights put up a good fight going in 33-26 down at the half, but the hometown Mystics surged to victory with an even stronger second-half performance.

Anya Williams took MVP honours with a 17-point, eight-assist, seven-rebound performance. Mojan Malek ran her team-mate close an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double.

Chayana Collins-Foster led the Knights with 14.

U16 Girls' 3rd/4th place game: Sheffield Hatters 78-60 Milton Keynes Breakers - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

Ophelia Larder-Lee led the Hatters to third place with a 24-point, seven rebound effort.

London Stars enjoy their moment after winning the U16 Boys title.
Manchester Mystics celebrate their U16 triumph

U18 Finals

U18 Men's Playoff Final: Reading Rockets 75-95 Sussex Storm - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

Sussex Storm claimed the U18 Men's crown with a dominant display built on deadly shooting.

They hit 59% of their field goal attempts and 57% of their threes to keep a battling Reading team on the back foot.

MVP Jamaul McAllister hit 23 and Nate Watson 20 (4/5 3PT) to keep Storm in front for the bulk of the game. Reading were paced by the tiredless Ethan Round's 24.

U18 Men's 3rd/4th place game: Manchester Giants 57-73 Manchester Magic - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

Magic came out on top in the Manchester derby to take third place in front of a raucous crowd on Court 2. The Giants edged the first half but Magic rallied to win the second half behind Jack Walton (17pts/6rbs/5ast).

U18 Women's Playoff Final: Endeavour Ipswich Basketball 59-58 CoLA Southwark Pride - LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

Ipswich held off a CoLA comeback bid to secure a first U18 Playoff crown since 2022/23 in nail-biting fashion.

The Londoners, who triumphed in the National Cup final when these two met in January, clawed their way back into a contest that saw them 21 points adrift at one point.

But Ipswich, led by 18-point, 12-rebound MVP Maisie Keyes kept them at bay in a frantic final few minutes. Deanna Carrington had 15 points and 10 boards and Holly Ensoll 12/15 as the Suffolk side triumphed. CoLA were led by Ayla Habbal's 15 points, Adaora Dioramma (14pts/15rbs) and Debra Wilson-Osuide (14).

U18 Women's 3rd/4th place game: Manchester Mystics 75-66 Nottingham Wildcats LIVE STATS / LIVE STREAM

Sisters Elizandra Costa (24pts) and Carina Costa (21) and Irene Oboavwoduo (21pts/10rbs) propelled Manchester to a third-place finish. Nottingham were led by Samantha Mullock (18pts/7rbs).

Sussex Storm bagged the U18 Men's crown in Manchester.
Ipswich are U18 Women's champs.
