With D1W and the other senior leagues already locking in their Playoff finalists, and the Jnr. NBL competitions also set ahead of the Final Fours, that just leaves a pair of D1M clashes on Saturday for basketball fans to enjoy.
We take a look at both of the weekend's match-ups below, with links to live stats at the bottom of the page.
League winners and top seeds Hemel Storm go head-to-head with Milton Keynes Breakers for a spot in this season's D1M Playoff Final.
Both teams have been in fine form throughout the regular season, with Storm (19-5) taking the title, and MK (16-8) sealing a top-four spot in their debut top-flight campaign.
Hemel had no problem sweeping aside #8 seeds Bristol Hurricanes in the last round, coming through as 95-78 victors behind a strong showing from Tra'Michael Moton (23pts).
The same can't be said of the Breakers, who narrowly edged #5 seeds Loughborough Riders, with a 71-68 final score.
MK's Kai Walker and Hemel's Moton both made the last D1M Team of the Week of the season for their part in those victories, meaning both enter this weekend in fine form and ready to push their respective sides forward.
The battle between Milton Keynes forwards Chris Tawiah and Adrian Scarborough and Hemel's Darien Nelson-Henry and Hakeem Sylla is sure to be quality viewing, as is the contest between the hosts' Sam Newman and Trent Monkman and MK's Jordan Spencer and Nate Robinson in the backcourt.
Throw in potential Player of the Year candidate Matt Ellis, who's enjoyed a standout debut season for Hemel, and there's stars everywhere you look in this one.
That said, tomorrow's visitors were missing both Blayne Freckleton and KJ Johnson from their victory over the Riders, and the availability of both men will be important this weekend.
Winners of both meetings in the regular season, and with home advantage on Saturday, the #1 seeds enter the contest as favourites, though MK did claim a 100-88 KitKing Trophy semi-final win back in November to give themselves a measure of confidence ahead of their visit to the StormDome.
Two teams interlinked throughout the closing stages of the regular season meet in the other semi-final, with Derby Trailblazers hosting Reading Rockets.
With results during the final weekend of the league campaign going Derby's way, they were able to leapfrog this Saturday's opponents and steal the #2 seed at the final hurdle, with the Rockets having to settle for third spot after significant time spent chasing eventual winners Hemel.
The victory plus last weekend's opening-round success, an 86-68 W against London Cavaliers, makes it five wins in a row for Derby, and they're a team in form right now.
Reading were 1-3 to finish the regular season before their win over Essex to begin the post-season. One of those defeats for Reading came in Derby on 9 March, with the Trailblazers sending the Rockets back down South off the back of a 97-83 scoreline.
The Rockets did take their home leg of the season series, coming through as 105-92 victors back in January, but the much more recent meeting in the Midlands is sure to provide Derby with at least a psychological advantage if nothing else.
Reading's Mitch Clarke is the reigning Player of the Week for his performance in the 97-74 success against the Rebels, with forward Ty Nsangu (12pts, 15reb) also earning plaudits for his double-double.
Nsangu's match-up with another Team of the Week pick, veteran Rob Marsden, will be an important one, as will the contest between Reading's battery of guards, Clarke, Victor Olarerin and Zain Poorman, against the likes of Charlie Brown, Jai Pathmarajah and Jase Harrison.
That just leaves Reading's Justin Hopkins, MVP of January's NBL National Cup Final, and Derby's Malcolm Smith, who leads his side in scoring with 18.9PPG.
Derby have home advantage and the most recent result between these two sides, but Reading enter with both of this season's available pieces of silverware to their name, the NBL National Cup and KitKing Trophy, and know how to win the big games.
