The final weekend provided a few last-gasp twists and turns, including Derby passing Reading for second spot.
Bradford join Worthing in the bottom two, whilst London Cavaliers and Bristol Hurricanes won the race for the final playoff spots.
We take a look back at all the weekend's match-ups below, with links to live stats at the bottom of the page.
Bristol Hurricanes ended their losing streak with a 95-85 victory against Newcastle Knights.
Capping off their poor run of form at seven defeats, Bristol finally got back into the win column thanks to a 22-point, 14-rebound, seven assist double-double from forward Daniel Edozie, ending Newcastle's playoff hopes in the process.
Edozie, Elvisi Dusha (18pts, 5ast) and Denzel Ubiaro (17pts, 5reb) all combined to push the hosts towards the century mark, with Ibn Williams adding 15 points off the Bristol bench for good measure.
Shooting a collective 50% from the field kept coach Varney's side ahead of the Knights for large chunks of the contest, though the Knights did fight back to lead early in both the third and fourth quarters.
Led by 24 points from Logan Rooney, plus 15 points apiece from Afrasyab Khalil and Corey Johnson, Newcastle couldn't find a way to hold on to either advantage as their post-season hopes were extinguished come the final buzzer.
Victory was enough to leave Bristol in the top eight, though they slipped behind another ten-win team in the form of London Cavaliers via the head-to-head tiebreaker, meaning the Hurricanes now head to regular season winners Hemel Storm to open the playoffs.
Newcastle go into the off-season with an eleventh-place finish, their lowest since they were promoted to the top flight following the 2019/20 season.

Bradford Dragons (7-17) gave themselves hope in the opening game of their double-header, beating top dogs Hemel Storm (19-5) 96-91 following a thrilling fourth quarter fightback.
A big 38 points from Justin Williams helped push the Dragons ahead despite trailing for much of the opening three quarters, consigning Hemel to a 3-5 record to close the campaign following their unbeaten 16-0 start.
Bradford needed to win both of their games on the weekend to potentially move out of the bottom two, but they couldn't overcome London Cavaliers (10-14), as they claimed their own two win weekend to sneak into the playoffs.
Saturday's 87-83 upset of second place Reading Rockets (17-7) was a big one, surviving a tense finish despite leading big in the first half, as 20 points from Justin Robinson got the Cavs over the line.
Juan Manning splashed five triples in Sunday's narrow 70-67 victory against Bradford, finishing with 19 points across a game where neither side was able to lead by more than nine.
The defeat left Bradford in 12th, whilst London, close in seventh, capped off a thrilling race for the final playoff spots as the weekend's big winners.
Nottingham Hoods (9-15) won their final game of the season 94-79 against Worthing Thunder (6-18), though results elsewhere would end their unlikely playoff push.
Jun Murdock Jr. (27pts, 7reb) and Landon Taliaferro (21pts, 8reb) combined to get the job done, with forward Greg Skoric (11pts, 10reb, 6st) providing the double-double.
City of Birmingham Rockets (9-15) started the weekend in the playoff spots but ended it on the outside looking in, going down 89-83 against Derby Trailblazers (17-7).
Coming unstuck during a 24-7 third quarter, CoB couldn't find a way past 28 points from Derby's Mo Walker, with the forward doing his bit to help the Trailblazers capitalise on Reading's loss and pushing DTB up into second in the final standings.
Loughborough Riders (14-10) used a 24-19 fourth quarter to win their final action of the regular season, securing the #5 seed with a narrow 75-72 victory against Newcastle.
26 points from Michael Joiner and a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double from Victor Ndoukou would be enough for the Riders, who managed to take advantage of a loss for Essex Rebels (14-10) in the battle for fifth and sixth.
The Rebels went down 82-75 against Milton Keynes Breakers (16-8), who finished with a top four spot in the debut D1M season thanks to impressive double-doubles from Adrian Scarborough (27pts, 11reb), Jordan Spencer (10pts, 16ast) and Chris Tawiah (14pts, 16reb).
