The event was one of a series of development opportunities this summer for players of the England Talent Programme (ETP)
"After a very successful campaign over the past couple of months with Selection Camp, the Home Nations and our camp in Montenegro, it was very beneficial to be able to end this season's journey together as a group by competing against such challenging opposition.
"I am confident that the players have gained a new awareness and understanding of the game. Having experienced such varying styles of play at the tournament, a new level of competitiveness and having to manage various end game scenarios when being in touching distance of winning difficult games.
"When reflecting on our ETP 2025 journey together as a whole, it has certainty been a very positive, beneficial and rewarding experience for all involved. And I look forward to seeing what comes next for a cohort of players with exciting potential and bright futures ahead of them."
"Valencia was an amazing opportunity for us to compete with some of the best, and one we have been preparing for since day one.
"It was great to see the girls compete in these games with us also managing to pick up a big win on day two. Although we didn’t get the outcome we set as a team, we achieved so many goals along the way and the improvement from day one of camp to now has been massive!
"I’m proud of how the girls stuck together and worked hard throughout!"
