A busy weekend of action in the WBBL Championship saw the races for the title and the Play-Offs continue to intrigue.
Oaklands Wolves pulled off an impressive win on the road as they defeated Manchester Mystics 81-86. The victory sees them stay level with Newcastle Eagles at 7-9 after a stunning performance from Roya Rustamzada with 30 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
Helen Naylor led Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters to a convincing 93-62 home win over Caledonia Pride with 33 points. Naylor shot 10 of 15 from the floor and also added six boards and five assists, while Alison Gorrell and Sarah Toeaina combined for a further 41 points in the win for the 13-2 Hatters.
Sevenoaks Suns still have the advantage in the title race as they moved to 14-0, despite finishing the weekend in second. Len Busch's side edged out BA London Lions for a 56-51 victory, while Leicester Riders won twice to take top spot on 15-2 as they backed up a 47-78 win at Nottingham Wildcats by beating Cardiff Met Archers 84-59 with 26 points from Trophy Final MVP, Kate Oliver.
Newcastle had beaten Essex Rebels 77-58 at home on Saturday with Georgia Ohrdorf posting 24 points, while Kara Bonenberger collected 20 rebounds in the win.
Meanwhile, Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby produced a huge performance with 28 points along with 13 rebounds as Durham Palatinates enjoyed a 56-79 success on the road against Cardiff.
