It was a dramatic weekend in the BBL Championship with Leicester Riders now the only team remaining with just one loss on the season.
The Riders handed London Lions their second league loss after JR Holder's buzzer-beater secured a dramatic 63-65 triumph at the Copper Box.
Rob Paternostro's side moved to 5-1 as they followed up an 86-77 win over Plymouth Raiders two days earlier with Holder netting a game-high 27 points.
"We struggled early [against London] but when the game was on the line, we made that one play we needed," said Paternostro.
"Holder is cool as can be under pressure - they played pretty good D, but he got to the left and finished - it feels super good and one of the best wins we've had here."
Bristol Flyers returned to winning ways as they picked up two victories on the weekend to climb into second with a 7-2 record. Andreas Kapoulas' side started with an 82-79 success over Worcester Wolves behind 31 points from Jalan McCloud before overcoming Cheshire Phoenix on the road as Fred Thomas put up 26 points in an 87-93 victory.
London City Royals pulled off an impressive result as they defeated Esh Group Eagles Newcastle 98-81 in Crystal Palace, on Saturday as they avenged the heavy loss from earlier in the season.
Orlan Jackman starred with 26 points and 13 rebounds against his former side, who were also beaten by London Lions the day before with Ladarius Tabb firing in 30 points to propel the league leaders to a convincing 96-78 success.
Meanwhile, Willie Clayton powered Manchester Giants to their first home win of the season as he posted 27 points and 14 rebounds in a 91-84 victory over Surrey Scorchers. The visitors were led by Caylin Raftopoulos' 20 points as they now drop to a 2-8 record in second bottom.
