Sevenoaks Suns maintained their perfect league record with just six games to go, while four teams are separated by two points in the race for the WBBL Play-Offs.
Essex Rebels picked up their third league win in convincing fashion as they defeated Caledonia Pride 88-57 behind two huge performances. DeAngelique Waithe fired in 39 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Jessy Ward had a 26-7-9 stat-line in the win.
"We've been working hard and it was good to see us put it together as a team and everyone contribute towards the win," said Ward.
Sevenoaks Suns returned to the summit as they improved their perfect record to 16-0 with two emphatic road wins. Len Busch's side eased past Newcastle Eagles in a 37-88 victory before storming to a 57-98 success at Nottingham Wildcats with 22 points for Judit Fritz.
Durham Palatinates moved up to sixth with a 7-10 record as they edged out local rivals, Newcastle Eagles in a 66-62 triumph. The scoring was spread out for the Trophy finalists as they overturned an eight-point half-time deficit to see off the Eagles and climb above them in the standings.
Meanwhile, Leicester Riders kept up the pressure in their pursuit of the league title as they defeated Manchester Mystics 79-65 as Rebecca Navarro had another standout game with 26 points to help her side to a 16-2 mark.
Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters still only have two defeats to their name as they ended the run of Oaklands Wolves with a 72-83 win on the road as Alison Gorrell posted an impressive 32 points and 15 rebounds.
BA London Lions were also weekend victors as they beat Cardiff Met Archers 64-51 to sit just outside of the top eight with their sixth league win.
