All4Ball is a primary school initiative which helps to put just a little bit of structure into basketball sessions in PE and is aimed at teachers. Don’t worry – you do not have to have previous experience of teaching basketball or even knowing about the sport beforehand.

The All4Ball delivery guide has everything you need to run 8 full sessions including a warm up, activities and even guidelines on how to run your very own tournament.

The great thing about this resource is that it can be adapted into other lesson plans and is flexible to give teachers the support to deliver a fun and rewarding basketball experience for children in primary school. Once completed, the kids even get a certificate! If that won’t encourage children to continue playing then we don’t know what will.

This programme helps to build a supportive learning environment and ensure every child has the same opportunity to include themselves in the sport. From what we know about young people, they learn best when they have flexibility and are engaged in specific tasks – all of which All4Ball is based on
