Robert kingdon
For the past 5 years Robert has been working in a safeguarding role for Teignbridge District Council and for the South Devon and Dartmoor Community Safety Partnership and prior to this role he worked for 30 years with the Devon and Cornwall Police with a focus on conducting and managing investigations of serious offences committed against children and adults at risk, implementing bespoke safeguarding, protection and welfare strategies. Throughout his career he has been a part of Child Death Reviews, Domestic Homicide Reviews and Serious Case Reviews. In his spare time, he is a referee, Competitions Secretary for the Exeter and District League and is also an Executive Member of the Exeter and District Basketball Association, with responsibility for safeguarding and the club welfare officers across 25 regional teams.
