Slam Jam is the perfect introduction to basketball for pupils in years 3, 4, 5 & 6. The aims of the participation based programme are to develop fundamental motor skills whilst developing a passion for basketball in a fun and safe environment.
Designed by a collaboration between experts and young people, the package includes resources packs (with 12 weeks worth of activities that can be used during PE lessons), activator training for staff, marketing materials plenty of other Slam Jam branded goodies. The programme has been designed in alignment with the national curriculum whilst offering the opportunity to support teachers to develop their confidence in delivering PE and basketball. The participant packs also offer the opportunity for children to stay active whilst at home using the basketball they receive so they can stay active and contribute positively to their mental health.
Being part of and delivering Slam Jam brings with it a number of benefits to both the school and the pupils taking part. Basketball is the 2nd best sport for getting young people active according to Sport England's Active People analysis and Slam Jam brings all the benefits of that along with the additional feel good factor of the branding. Our standard package is great for schools who are relatively unfamiliar with basketball and have a limited budget to deliver physical activity. All the essentials are included so that 12 weeks of fun can be had by all those who participate.

The premium Slam Jam package is ideal for schools wanting to add extra value to their physical education provision. Inclusive of everything provided in the standard package, the premium package has the addition of 15 participant packs for the participants to keep so they can continue their basketball experience at home. The addition of the participant packs adds to the great first experience the pupils will have and the branding makes them feel part of something special.

The ultimate package is the perfect way to turn your school basketball crazy. Our most expensive offering but certainly our most rewarding, the ultimate package is the complete Slam Jam experience and is ideal for schools with some budget to spend or those without any easily accessible basketball equipment. Providing you with 2 free standing portable basketball hoops as well as the participant packs and the resources, your Slam jam sessions won't be bettered when purchasing this package.
