  • Dual Career Scholarship Student: Senior national team; U20’s National team; Men’s BBL playing experience, or Men’s division 1/National league play offs playing experience.
  • Performance Potential: England or an equivalent standard country or have recent (within one year) U18 national team playing experience.  Men's division 2 may also be considered as well as EABL.

Does the university offer academic flexibility and have support processes for high performing basketball players?

• The University is one of very few in England to have received dual career accreditation from TASS. This award demonstrates that the University is able to offer a number of flexible study options for high performance athletes, this includes flexible pathways (part time, intercalation) assessment flexibility and further additional support with accessing lectures remotely and staff tutorials.
• In addition to this the scholarship programme offers financial, sports science and pastoral support to help student athletes navigate part/full time study and full-time basketball careers.
• Each student is allocated a Personal Academic Tutor that provides additional support to that of their lecturers.
