KitKing Trophy draw & recap: Results, streams & stats as quarter-finals set (24/25 September 2022)

The group stage of this season's KitKing Trophy is now completed, with the draw for next weekend's quarter-finals confirmed.

Unbeaten Group 1 winners Worthing Thunder will host Thames Valley, whilst Group 2 champs Reading entertain Loughborough.

That leaves the top teams in Groups 3 and 4, Hemel Storm and Derby Trailblazers, with home ties against Bradford Dragons and Team Solent Kestrels respectively.

The draw was confirmed after an action-packed weekend to wrap up the group stages, with eleven games taking place in total.

The group winners all came through the weekend unscathed, with Worthing beating London Lions II 97-56 thanks to 26 points from Hafeez Abdul, whilst Reading backed up their midweek victory over Oaklands with a hard-fought 87-72 road win against Thames Valley.

Hemel Storm made it three wins from three, hammering Charnwood 122-52 before inflicting a 93-62 defeat on Charnwood's parent club Loughborough yesterday.

That left defending champs Derby to seal their own clean sweep of Group 4, beating Team Newcastle University 73-39 in a repeat of last season's final.
