Wilson Players of the Year

After a perfect 18-0 record across their Pool I schedule, it is no surprise to see another award heading to Sheffield.

For the second season in a row, honours have gone to the Hatters II, with Helen Naylor getting the nod after teammate Sarah Cooney a year ago.

Naylor is joined by Kate Lee, who was a standout performer for Cobham Cobras in Pool II.

The Cobras would eventually pip East London All Stars to top spot, with Lee and Co fighting hard across a competitive campaign.

Coach of the Year

There's a pair of double ups amongst the coaching winners for this year, with both Sheffield and Cobham providing dual selections.

Pool I's pick goes to coach CJ Lee, who shared duties on the sideline with Hatters Player/Coach Courtney Bennett.

The duo certainly put the Pool winner's roster on the right track, striking a great balance across a memorable campaign.

Cobham's Luke Dowding is also recognised, with the Cobras improving from 6-3 a year ago to a stunning 20-2 this season, getting the best from the likes of Kate Lee, Karolina Karolak, Modiegi Mokoka and others.

Senior Playoff Finals

Today's awards continue the week of NBL and WNBL end of season honours in the lead up to this weekend's senior playoff finals at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester.
